"A WOMAN'S WORK IS NEVER DONE" IS AN ADAGE THAT is
becoming almost literally true for working women in the United States,
who often put in a hard day's night of family chores once they
return from a long day at the office, while their macho household
co-pilots "decompress" on the living room couch. It all began for me one fateful evening when I reluctantly went to
the movies to see the Beatles in A Hard Day's Night. In retrospect in seems an important film and in a
way a precursor to Richard Lester's A Hard Day's Night with
the Beatles, which was made only months after Lonely Boy was released. |
