Nowadays, more than 54 full-time employees and 400 part-timers are involved in work force training in Arkansas, some with the AATYC but most through the colleges.
The AATYC WorkForce Training Consortium counts among its tasks: * Keeping an inventory of two-year college training services and coordinating delivery of these services; * Promoting partnerships between colleges and business; * Developing pre-employment internships and work-study; and * Positioning two-year colleges for response to state and federal welfare reform.
