was approved by the ACPC Governing Council through Resolution No.
The program will be implemented within a one-year period, along with other programs being implemented by the DA-ACPC under the AFFP
such as the Sikat Saka II; Agrarian Production Credit Program (APCP); Agri-Microfinance Program (AMP)-II; Value Chain Financing Program (VCFP); and Climate Change Adaptation Financing Program (CCAFP).
The Minister pointed to importance of the coordination and cooperation between Yemen and AFFP
to improve the cooperation among Arab States in fisheries field.
Under the AFFP
guidelines, borrowers are also required to enroll applicable or eligible agri-fishery projects for coverage under the appropriate insurance facility of the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC).
Eligible borrowers of the AFFP are non-agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARB) since ACPC has a separate P2 billion loan program for ARBs, according to Corpuz.
Martin said qualified to apply for the AFFP loan are farmers raising not more than 1,000 poultry layers or 5,000 broilers.
