Bellanti, Professor of Pediatrics and Microbiology-Immunology at the
International Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of Immunology at
Georgetown University School of Medicine, presented the
Company's-sponsored Phase I FDA-approved clinical trials in AIDS
patients at the Adult AIDS Clinical Trial Group (AACTG) winter meeting
held at the Baltimore Marriott this past Sunday. This randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled, multicenter,
dose-ranging study is being co-sponsored by the Neurologic AIDS Research
Consortium and the AIDS Clinical Trial Group. NIAID
sponsors clinical trials for the Adult AIDS Clinical Trial Group,
Pediatric AIDS Clinical Trial Group, Terry Beirn Community Programs for
Clinical Research on AIDS, AIDS Vaccine Evaluation Group, and HIV
Network for Prevention Trials. |
