Present at the opening session of the meeting were Mustafa al Mansouri, Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives and Nurudin Boshkog, AIPU's Secretary General, representatives of AIPU Arab parliaments. The conference will also review C the duties of the AIPU in the light of C the resolution adopted at the AIPUAEs 14th meeting which was held in C Lebanon in the wake of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip. AIPU chairman highlighted the need for organized action by Arab delegations and participating countries, particularly by the grouping representing Islamic countries, according to a statement published on Mashhadani's web site. |
