According to an AJC statement,
"The report does not explain what purpose will be served by
negotiations between Israel and those Palestinians who, while presumably
moderate, do not actually have the power to make and carry out
agreements. Gasparri informed
the AJC that the Pope "considers all men his brethren" and:
"he will not cease to inculcate the observance among
'individuals, as among nations, the principles of natural right and
to reprove every violation of them. Her research project had
been inspired by the AJC, but it was an independent study, carried out
and supervised by faithful adherents of the religion studied. |
