Series 6 architecture and solutions deliver operators the following benefits across the energy chain:
Alstom, which is due to supply the entire unit, including a GT26 gas turbine, steam turbine, turbo generator, heat recovery steam generator and an ALSPA
series six integrated control system, was also responsible for building Singapore's first cogeneration plant, which came online in 2001.
Under the terms and conditions of the contract, Alstom Power will supply* the complete power island, comprising the steam turbine generator set, the water-steam cycle, the boiler and the ALSPA
distributed control system to the new unit 6.
Alstom s scope in the contract includes engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the 1,000 MW steam turbine, a generator, supercritical boiler and auxiliaries as well as ALSPA
Series 6 distributed control system and advanced environmental control systems to cut emissions.
Under the terms and conditions of the contract, Alstom will engineer, supply and install its latest state-of-the-art distributed control system (DCS), the ALSPA
Series 6,and all related instrumentation.
