NCEW leadership extended free trial memberships in 2009 to those in AOPE and invited them to attend our event in Salt Lake City. To overcome these limitations--and to better understand the processes responsible for mixing in the upper ocean scientists Jim Ledwell and Gene Terray in the AOPE Department and Sundermeyer collaborated on a pilot project--literally and figuratively. Among AOPE members, this session is known as "Nuts and Bolts," but it is hardly workmanlike. |
