Ajman University of Science and Technology (AUST) has been adjudged as the winner of the Estidama Fareej Design contest, a joint programme introduced by Estidama, the unique sustainability initiative introduced by Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council (UPC) and Aldar, the private property developer based in Abu Dhabi. The author, Dr Rafiq RA Abou-Shaaban of Faculty of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Ajman University of Science and Technology, released the details of the study at the Dubai International Pharmaceuticals & Technologies Conference & Exhibition (DUPHAT) 2009 this week. Sareh Ameri-Mills and Mahnaz Mohammadpour, both interior design students at the American University of Dubai and Ahmed Hamdi Mustafa from the Ajman University of Science and Technology were selected for their innovative conceptual designs and 3D models of cluster workstations, office chairs and filing systems. |
