In the summer, the legendary string quartet, the Alban Berg Quartet, gave its final concert in the city's "Konzerthaus" concert hall after 37 years on the podium.
The four musicians, Alex Naumenko (violin), Anton Ilyunin (violin) Dmitry Pitulko (viola) and Anna Gorelova (cellist) were coached by members of the Alban Berg Quartet, the Vermeer Quartet, and the Danel Quartet and also by Professor Eberhard Feltz, of Berlin.
The Alban Berg Quartet disbands in July, but will give three final London recitals in the Queen Elizabeth Hall in the first half of this year.
