An association executive for more than 30 years, Shockley began his association journey in 1956 in the public relations department of the American Textile Manufacturers Institute, Washington, D.
The National Textile Association has announced that Hardy Poole, the former vice president, Product Services and Corporate Secretary of the American Textile Manufacturers Institute, has joined the organization to provide support to the NTA membership on state and federal regulatory issues, defense procurement and consumer affairs.
They included the American Furniture Manufacturers Association, (AFMA), the Alliance for Polyurethane Institute, (API), the Polyurethane Foam Association, the Flame Retardant Chemicals Association, the Fabric Coalition, the American Textile Manufacturers Institute (ATMI), and the Non-Woven Fabrics Association.
