Moser Baer, the giant optical media storage maker, has invested in the production of both crystalline silicon and amorphous silicon solar panels. An alliance with Sony would enable Epson Imaging's LCD technology and amorphous silicon TFT production capability to be fully utilized and broader customer demands to be satisfied. This work collects 85 of the presentations, including posters, given at the April 2007 Materials Research Society symposium of the same name, convened in recognition of the success of amorphous silicon and polysilicon materials in commercial products. |
