An analog output (0 to 10 VDC and/or 4
to 20 mA) is also available. The demonstrated simulator distributes a model over three Pentium
III processors running RT-LAB under QNX--one executing the model at 50
microseconds sampling time and communicating through shared memory, with
a second processor managing NI PXI-6713 analog output and NI6602 timer
I/O boards in order to test the controller.
It can operate in two different modes: controlling the output of the
variable-volume pump and the switching of the fixed-volume pumps; or in
a throttle mode where the analog output is applied to a pressure- or
flow-control valve while also selecting fixed pumps. |
