Stabilitrak is an integrated stability control system made up of three sensors that keep the anti-lock brake system and traction control computer apprised of steering wheel angle, lateral acceleration and yaw rate and selectively applies individual front brakes to keep the car on its intended course. The XL7 also features a four-wheel anti-lock brake system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Program (R) (ESP) (including traction control).
