Introduction Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) is characterized by progressive fatty or fibrofatty infiltration of the right ventricular myocardium, which constitutes a substrate for electrical instability and a focus of ventricular arrhythmias (1).
The illness - arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy - can be so severe and unpredictable that some victims don't survive.
