Summary: At its meeting in Washington last week the Public Interest Oversight Board approved the appointment of Mr Paul Koster, Chief Executive of the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) as a member of an influential advisory board of two key international accounting bodies, the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and the International Ethics Standards Board (IESB).
Tosheva has a masters degree in banking and finance from the University of National and World Economy and a diploma from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and from the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board.
Entitled "New Developments in International Auditing and Ethics Standards", the seminar was organised by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) - independent standard-setting bodies of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the leading global organisation for the accountancy profession.
