The new agreement is "a win for millimeter-wave science," says delegate John Whiteoak of the Australia Telescope National Facility in Epping.
AWR(TM)), a leading provider of high-frequency electronic design automation (EDA) tools, today announced that it has finalized an agreement with the Australia Telescope National Facility (ATNF) Engineering Development Group to provide EDA solutions to be used for radio-frequency (RF), microwave, and millimeter-wave design.
Simon Johnston of the Australia Telescope National Facility in Epping and his colleagues discovered the nearby pulsar, which orbits a companion star, while surveying the southern sky with the Parkes 64-meter radiotelescope.
