BCR is a facility that serves about 95 developmentally disabled adults and children. The data from these sources all show increases in cases of breast cancer over the past 15 years, with a May 2002 BCR article reporting a 72% jump over the 1990s among women aged 46-64 in Marin County, California. The telltale protein of both stages of CML is a hybrid of two damaged products of the BCR (breakpoint cluster region) and ABL (Abelson murine leukemia) genes. |
