The delegation, hosted by BWTC's architects and engineers Atkins, was given a tour of the building and the students learnt how BWTC, the iconic building is the first in the world to incorporate electricity-generating wind turbines between two commercial tower structures, surpassing existing construction boundaries.
BWTC has already a long-term purchase agreement to sell 50pc of its production to customers in the US and Mexico which will enables the acquisition of raw material at a favorable price, and an agreement with internationally established technical partners that will guarantee quality assurance.
A NOVA engineering investigator is expected to visit BWTC to conduct a thorough investigation and submit a confidential report to the jury for its review and winning entries will be announced at the NOVA Award Banquet on November 17, 2009 in Florida, USA.
