The latest investigation of the LAPD's Rampart scandal initiated by Mayor James Hahn and Police Chief William Bratton smacks of an attempt to beat a dead horse solely for political advantage. Not to beat a dead horse, but one merely needs to look at the media treatment during last year's presidential election to wonder where have all the journalists gone. |
