The 93-minute film itself talks to many of the field's true pioneers, from the men who invented Bezier curves and the computer mouse to SGI and Netscape founder James Clark and Adobe Systems CEO John Warnock to the king of ``Star Wars,'' George Lucas, and his nine-time Oscar-winning visual effects honcho, Dennis Murren. It utilizes a modified version of Bezier mathematics which assumes that the representative sections and surfaces are essentially plastic and able to be manipulated at will. These enhancements include the ability to have static or variable text on a curved path, full support for Bezier paths, a hand tool for panning the page, and the addition of guides and grids to the interactive online editing interface. |
