The biographical questionnaire was used to obtain information pertaining to a number of variables, including the nature of symptom presentation, method of referral, age, education level, occupation, economic status, number of children, family history of psychological problems, participation in physical exercise and interest in religion.
In an independent study done on honesty tests at Ohio University in 1988, 547 college students were given a series of five psychological tests (Eyseneck Personality Questionnaire, Crown-Marlowe Social Desirability Scale, Owens Biographical Questionnaire, Adjective Checklist, and Protestant Work Ethic Scale) that measure personality and work attitudes.
