The 34th Street Partnership is a business improvement district established to provide supplemental services and streetscape improvements for one of Manhattan's most vibrant shopping and commercial office districts, to complement municipal services provided by the City.
By lowering crime and making a neighborhood more attractive, a business improvement district can help merchants attract more customers and thereby increase sales and profits--even after paying the for the costs of the improvements.
BURBANK - Merchants near Media City Center will vote on broadening the Business Improvement District so that property owners as well as tenants will pay into a fund to improve and maintain the area.
