Barron filed suit against the former employer, Cook Children's Health Care System (CCHCS) and Cook Children's Physician Network (CCPN), seeking relief pursuant to Texas law and claiming that the termination by CCHCS and CCPN was in retaliation for the complaint that was filed. CCPN believes that athenahealth will add significant value to our PedsPal-affiliated practices and, with the connectivity strategy that is being developed across the broader system, will allow physicians and their patients from around the country to access the world-class pediatric specialty care offered at Cook Children's Health System.
