The CFAR program was established by the NIH to promote collaboration between basic and clinical researchers on AIDS-related projects, emphasizing translational research in which findings from the laboratory are brought to the clinic and vice versa. The Centers for AIDS Research (CFARs) have the CFAR Network of Integrated Clinical Systems (CNICS), which is a large system trying to link existing CFAR site databases electronically, but there are apparently logistical complexities with the linking of sites. The approval is for certification reports to the FAA's 14 CFAR part 33 requirements for the CF34-10E TRAS used on Embraer's ERJ190 aircraft. |
