Theo Braddy, Executive Director of CILCP
opened the ceremony stating, "The awards were developed as a way to highlight the accomplishments of individuals with disabilities as well as honor the contributions of groups and volunteers.
Whether using a facility specifically designed for people with disabilities, such as the one at CILCP
, or considering a fitness center open to the general public, there are some important considerations that individuals with disabilities should keep in mind before participating in a physical fitness routine.
The Living Well Fitness Center has been made available to CILCP
consumers, and soon to the general public, as part of the Living Well With a Disability program, launched in the summer of 2007.
