The top sale was a 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR Roadster, the only righthand-drive example built, achieving pounds 616,000, followed closely by a 2005 Mercedes CLK GTR Coup, selling for pounds 522,500. The E-Class replaces the current C-Class based CLK coupe in the Mercedes line-up and is due to go on sale in June. The motorist, who has yet to be named, was driving a silver Ford Ka which was in collision with a black Mercedes CLK 220 near the Horticultural Research Centre, on the A429 between Barford and Wellesbourne. |
