In this situation, small lymphoid infiltrates must be differentiated from inflammatory and infectious conditions to which patients with CLL/SLL are prone. An association between fludarabine treatment and transformation of CLL/SLL and other non-Hodgkin's lymphomas to HD-L lymphomas has been reported. Four subjects had CLL/SLL, 2 had mantle cell lymphoma, one had follicular grade III, 4 had diffuse large cell lymphoma (DLC), and one had lymphoplasmacytic low grade lymphoma. |
