Phase one of CSTARS implementation has been completed and the system is now installed and operational among approximately 250 users at the Department's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Office of the Secretary of the Department of Commerce, which includes the offices of the Inspector General, Office of Acquisition Services, Office of Security, Office of Administrative Services, and the Commerce Information Technology Solutions (COMMITS) procurement offices. The California Department of Justice (DOJ) partnered with Delegata to develop the CSTAR system which provides an efficient and accurate method for tracking and responding to inquiries from constituents, government officials, law enforcement agencies, and stakeholders. IEWTPT complements the Motorola prototype Combat Synthetic Training Assessment Range (CSTAR) battle command trainer by enhancing and subsequently extending existing CSTAR capabilities. |
