On our metaphorical journey to Southern Utah University, which is home to a major annual Shakespeare Festival, we stayed a few days in this Biblical Paradise (rather than the Fool's Paradise of Las Vegas) before taking a northeastern loop through God's Country to witness (Biblical diction still works best here) Cedar Breaks National Monument, which is only a dozen miles or so up the mountain (at 10,300 feet) from Cedar City, Utah, our final destination.
