Pinter first met Soros in 1991, when he was looking for somebody to run the publishing arm of the new Central European University, based in Budapest, which he set up. Central European University (CEU) is an internationally recognized institution of post-graduate education in social sciences and humanities. Since June of 1997, Williams has been providing consulting services to a number of clients, including the Scholastic Publishing Company, the Children's Defense Fund, where she was Director of Communications from 1985 to 1990, the Central European University, Arts France USA and the National Black Women's Health Project. |
