This bill sets a fine range from $1,500 to $2,500 for not having a certificate of fitness, and $1,250 to $2,500 for not having a licensed rigger on site or lacking insurance. Train the building's fire safety directors (FSD) and their deputies through an approved school, after which they must earn an EAP Certificate of Fitness certifying them as FS/ EAP directors and deputies. The properties are considered uninhabitable until they are cleaned up by a state-certified decontamination contractor and a certificate of fitness is issued by the Oregon Health Division. |
