The Chemical Specialties Manufacturers Association, which represents manufacturers that promote safe and proper use of consumer chemical products, has produced a new brochure detailing proper selection and safe application of insect repellents, especially repellents that contain DEET.
The new legislation includes specific exemptions for antimicrobial and emergency use which were recommended by the Chemical Specialties Manufacturers Association (CSMA).
