In October 2005 ADI unveiled the company-funded Copperhead Armoured Combat Support Vehicle, which combines the Bushmaster's front cab section and mechanicals, including the Caterpillar/ZF powerpack and independent suspension system, with a flatbed rear cargo area.
A tank combat support vehicle, which is being constructed nowadays, represents a family of new weapons and armaments, which are designated mainly to operate in one combat line with tanks and to destroy massive antitank means.
DFIRST instrumentation will also be affixed to operational military equipment such as tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, surface-to-air platforms, and combat support vehicles to monitor their movements and weapon engagements during battlefield training exercises.
