Responding to the demand for high-performance current sensing solutions as the automotive industry begins the migration to 42 V electrical systems, Analog Devices has developed an easy-to-use difference amplifier with a wide input common mode voltage range and the ability to eliminate error sources commonly associated with current sensing in electro-mechanical systems.
The level of immunity is extremely high, due to the wide common mode voltage range of the receiver inputs (+/-35V).
A monolithic galvanic isolation barrier gives the devices a common mode voltage range of plus-or-minus 2,500 volts, and immunity to ground and signal differentials that would interrupt data transmissions or even destroy non-isolated devices.
