The dead birds testing positive for the West Nile virus Friday included 153 American crows, two scrub jays, one common raven and one black phoebe.
West Nile virus (WNV) antibodies were detected in horses from five Mexican states, and WNV was isolated from a Common Raven in the state of Tabasco.
