This Morning's Dr Chris Steele (right), Mark Jones, Director of the Community Nurse and Health Visitors Association, Sue Nutbrown from the Practice Nurse Association, Sandra Rote from North Birmingham Primary Healthcare Trust and Jennie Potter from the Community and District Nursing Association, spent hours pouring over moving stories about each nurse's commitment and dedication and eventually selected a winner from each category.
The Community and District Nursing Association is urging the committee to recommend the government adequately funds palliative care.
