The Construction Materials Recycling Association estimates that 350 million tons of construction and demolition material is generated every year, of which only 28 million tons--8 percent--is recycled. The Construction Materials Recycling Association (CMRA) honored one company and one government agency for their achievements in C&D recycling at the association's Annual Meeting at the C&D World Show in January. The Construction Materials Recycling Association (CMRA) has sent a resolution to city officials in Los Angeles urging them to adopt an ordinance that would require all city departments to recycle at least 50 percent of construction and demolition debris. |
