Tokyo, Japan, Nov 2, 2005 - (JCNN) - Teijin Pharma has launched the GoodKnight 420 series of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) devices for treating sleep apnea syndrome (SAS).
After a trial of continuous positive airway pressure, the patient showed a significant improvement in his sleep parameters.
Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and bi-level positive air-way pressure (BiPAP) have been observed to improve the exercise performance of patients with obstructive lung disease.
