His service project, completed for the Cascades Raptor Center, involved building an enclosure for a Cooper's hawk.
The day's take after 8-1/2 hours included one osprey, two northern harriers, five sharp-shinned hawks, one Cooper's hawk, four broad-winged hawks and one American kestrel.
