Cricket, football, netball and bowling are the latest sports in the Ballarat area to benefit from a share of over $175,000 courtesy of the Victorian Coalition Government s Country Action Grant Scheme (CAGS) and Victalent sports grants.
The Country Action Grant Scheme helps local sports organisations stay on top of their game by providing funds to support better program delivery, administration, communication and in this case first aid and coaching training.
Penshurst Football Netball Club in Western Victoria is the latest club to share in almost $175,000 courtesy of the first round of the Victorian Coalition Government s 2014 Country Action Grant Scheme (CAGS) and Victalent sports grants.
Mr Delahunty said a total of 105 projects across the state would benefit from a share of almost $175,000 in the first phase of the Coalition Government s 2014 Country Action Grant Scheme and Victalent grants, with second phase funding of a further $175,000 to be announced in May 2014.
