The Federal Reserve Board announced on December 1, 2000, the execution of a Written Agreement by and among Caisse Nationale de Credit Agricole, Paris, France; Credit Agricole Indosuez, Paris, France; Credit Agricole Indosuez, New York Branch, New York, New York; the Federal Reserve Bank of New York; and the New York State Banking Department. CFOWeb, which claimed more than 4,000 corporate customers by mid-summer, had by early July signed up nine major international financial services firms as providers: ABN Amro, AIG International, BNP Paribas, Bank of America, Standard Chartered Bank, ING Barings, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Credit Agricole Indosuez and Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi. Calyon came into existence in May 2004 with the consolidation of Credit Agricole Indosuez and the corporate and investment banking division of Credit Lyonnais. |
