A new nigh-clarity grade of cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) has enabled the Cryovac unit of Sealed Air Corp.
The plant represents a capital investment of more than $40 million for Grace Packaging and, when completed, will help to satisfy the demand for its Cryovac packaging materials in the Asia Pacific region.
Cryovac has worked for over a decade on a variety of oxygen-scavenging materials to give refrigerated products longer shelf life.
