Hines and its partner, Deutsche Immobilienfonds, or DIFA, have hired Secured Capital to market the property, the sources said. The company used to own it as well, but in January 1999, it concluded a successful sale\leaseback agreement, whereby it sold the building to DIFA, one of Germany's largest open-ended real estate funds, and in return, took a long-term lease to occupy two-thirds of the buildings. The customer is Development Securities PLC and the project is being funded by Morley Fund Management and DIFA Deutsche Immobilien Fonds AG. |
