CHICAGO -- The human antibody company, Affitech AS, announced today at BIO 2006 that they have renewed an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement with DKFZ (German Cancer Research Center) of Heidelberg, Germany for the antibody library display patents, otherwise known as "Breitling" IP family. Affitech obtained the exclusive worldwide rights of the patent from the DKFZ (German Cancer Research Center) in Heidelberg, Germany. EMBL, a leading molecular biology research institute, and DKFZ, a member of the Helmholtz Association of National Research Centres, jointly established one of the first European academic small-molecule screening facilities in Heidelberg, Germany. |
