Please note that DOALOS, the UN agency in charge of administering LOST, claims the convention covers "all ocean space," including everything on, in, under, and above the oceans.
The observer of DOALOS brought to the attention of the Plenary that the ITLOS has published a booklet entitled "A Guide to the Proceedings Before the Tribunal", which provides a presentation of the Tribunal, sets out the main features of its proceedings and provides pleadings and model forms to assist States interested in resorting to the Tribunal.
Moreover, the representative of DOALOS asked delegations to keep in mind that cancellations or changes in the applications represented management costs for the UN, and have consequences on the Assistance Fund.
