Dr Mitchell said DSTL was currently working in partnership with industry to develop a version of the coating that would absorb the vast majority of a liquid chemical warfare agent. Dstl is an agency of the UK's Ministry of Defence (MoD), existing to supply the very best, impartial, scientific and technical research and advice to the MoD and other Government Departments. His three current non-executive appointments include deputy chairman of fishing tackle specialist Hardy and Greys, non-executive director of engineering company NG Bailey, and chairman of Dstl, the MoD's Defence Science and Technology Laboratory. |
