Addressing a National conference under the auspices of Devolution Trust for Community Empowerment (DTCE), held at Jinnah Convention Centre on Wednesday, the chairman DTCE, and former chairman NRB Daniyal Aziz, said that the local government, as prevalent in the past 8 years, was a symbol of democratic norms in the Country, which should be immediately restored, and amended where required, instead of terminating it altogether.
