The patient underwent surgical debridement of the left thigh, left hemiabdomen, and hemithorax, which confirmed the diagnosis of necrotizing fascitis. An early-uncontaminated biopsy, formulation of a surgical plan, early debridement of eschar with temporary skin cover and scrupulous wound management all contribute to a successful outcome when applying CEA sheets and Keratinocytes cell spray (Maim et al 2005). Because the patient was able to hear only with her right ear, her mastoid and middle ear disease was managed conservatively with periodic local debridements in the office. |
