The addition of these new capabilities to the high-density achieved by Lightspeed Logic's Reconfigurable Logic IP will produce a higher number of known-good dies per wafer and effectively outperform the equivalent density of standard cells.
Based on the evaluation done over the six months, we concluded that using PDF Solutions' software for optimizing wafer layout does indeed provide improvement over the currently used methods in terms of productivity measured by the litho cell throughput, while keeping the same number of good yielding dies per wafer.
Increase in manufacturability yielded a 36 percent increase in good dies per wafer.
